Principal Product Manager, Photos

As Principal Product Manager, you will drive the future of AI in Google Photos by leading our AI and LLM product strategy. You will chart the path for Photos on AI innovation and ensure we're building at the Gemini frontier. Specifically, you will own the agentic experience in Google Photos, enabling all teams to leverage Gemini and Photos LLM-powered understanding to build better experiences, and partner across Google. You will manage a small team of Product Managers and working closely with executive partners in Google DeepMind (GDM), Gemini, Search, and Platforms and Devices (P&D) to ship transformative AI features.

In this role, you will utilize innovation, creativity, outlook, as well as the ability to partner with the Engineering team to develop the right technical solution and delightful user experience. You will interact and partner with other Directors and Vice Presidents from across Google, including Google DeepMind, Search, and from within Platforms and Devices. You will use AI and LLM expertise, and understanding of the infrastructure and critical user journey's. You will stay up to date on the latest models.

Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
