SUMMARY :

Exciting opportunities await recent and new college graduates with interest in finance and analysis. We are actively looking for individuals with a strong interest in finance to join our team in Entry Level Accountant and Entry Level Finance positions.

As an Entry Level Accountant, you will focus on finance, reporting, and heavy data entry, contributing to various fund valuation processes and calculating net asset valuations (NAVs) for a designated set of mutual funds or investment products.

Updates, analyzes, and reconciles all security trading activity received from the fund advisor daily.

Ensures all fund transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.

Applies accounting and finance principles to asset types.

Provides fund advisors with forecasted available cash every morning in a quick and accurate manner.

Reconciles fund accounting records for custodian, transfer agent, and middle office daily.

Prepares monthly reconciliations for other fund activity and delivers periodic auditor requests for annual fund audits.

Work with external business partners regarding general information, audits, inquiries, or reporting requirements.

Collaborate with fund accounting, transfer agent, and middle office departments, as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

An, BA, or BS degree with a major in accounting, finance, banking, business, economics, or other related field; alternately, a degree with a minor or interest in finance.

Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat is a preferred but not required.

Must be able to go to the office once per week.

Must be willing to train in office first 2 weeks.
