Pay Rate : $36 – $40 / hr
Shift / Hours : Thursday – Saturday & every other Wednesday, 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM
Job Summary :
The Maintenance Technician supports a semiconductor manufacturing facility, performing environmental rounds, monitoring alarms, and ensuring safety standards around hazardous materials and chemicals. This role requires a mix of technical trade skills, facility systems knowledge, and a strong safety mindset to maintain critical operations, including VOC scrubbers and filtration systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform basic carpentry tasks such as patching, painting, and finishing walls, ceilings, and floors
Support building maintenance with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry knowledge
Conduct environmental rounds, including temperature and alarm checks
Operate and maintain VOC scrubbers and filtration systems
Safely interface with building fire protection systems
Manage and track inventories of critical consumables
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with safety standards
Document maintenance activities using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Support manufacturing operations by ensuring proper facility and environmental controls
Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in building / facilities maintenance in industrial or manufacturing settings
Knowledge of energy management systems (climate control)
Strong safety awareness and ability to work with hazardous materials
Nice-to-Have Experience :
Hazardous Material Training
Massachusetts Wastewater License
OSHA 10 / 30 or HAZWOPER 10 / 30 / 40 certifications
Comfortable using respirators (SCBA) and working around hazardous chemicals such as gallium, arsenic, chlorine, ammonia, and xylene
Required Skills :
