Job Description

The Machine Set-Up and Operator  ensures machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards .

Perform basic set up, tool changes, and offsets

• Produce parts as per manufacturing schedule, part specification, and quality standards-
• Deburr machined parts
• Measure parts using micrometers and calipers
• Perform required in-process dimensional checking
• Log hours on time ticket
• Complete and organize required documentation (work orders, work instructions, tags, etc.)
• Keep parts organized and identified at all times
• Follow all 4M Quality Procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
