CAD / BIM Technician
Full service electrical contractor seeking to hire a CAD / BIM Technician, responsible for delivering on-time, cost-effective shop drawings that directly benefit the operations team by transitioning seamlessly into installation.

CAD / BIM Technician Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for delivering on-time, cost-effective shop drawings that directly benefit the operations team by transitioning seamlessly into installation.
- Will oversee the 2D / 3D modeling and coordination process.
- Works with Project Management, Field Leadership, and Prefab to read and understand specifications and contract documents and to establish a plan of attack on projects within the framework of the project budget.
- Must have knowledge of electrical as well as mechanical and plumbing systems to read and interpret code, and understanding of best practices in the creation of annotated installation and layout drawings.
CAD / BIM Technician Job Qualifications :
- Must have good experience utilizing Autodesk Revit and AutoCad Software, Bluebeam , as primary means of creating detail fabrication drawings for installation crews.
- Strives for proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam and other BIM software.
- Must have two years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Graduation from an accredited Technical School Program or an Associates of Technology Degree in CAD Technology preferred.
