Great Plains Grasslands Program Coordinator
As our Great Plains Grasslands Program Coordinator, you will report to and provide direct, high-level support to the Great Plains Grasslands Strategy Director. You will aid in the integration and alignment of the Great Plains Grasslands Strategy (GPG), which spans three Initiative Areas in nine Conservancy business units, ten states and two provinces. Further, you will help to create and maintain strong internal relationships as well as strong partner relationships. You will also perform a variety of high-level tasks associated with the program, including overseeing and managing multiple specific projects of the program such as scheduling and coordinating logistics for special events and meetings (both in-person and virtual) with internal and external colleagues and partners; capturing notes / action items; overseeing purchasing and contracting with vendors; and maintaining electronic files. In addition, you will perform financial tasks including support in budget development, monitoring budgets, preparing expense reports, and processing invoices. You will work to develop and implement systems and provide resources to improve program function and provide program support. You will handle inquiries about GPG activities and will assist in the development of program materials and correspondence. You will work cooperatively with Conservancy staff and partners across the North America region, providing information and participating in decision making and problem solving. You will also communicate on behalf of GPG with internal and external sources including staff, donors, vendors, businesses and partners in order to coordinate arrangements, convey information and ensure successful execution of the program. The position includes travel, long hours, and work during evenings and weekends as needed. The work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and / or strain.

What youll bring : Bachelors degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination. Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting data. Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading. Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines. Experience managing the schedule and contacts of a senior leader. Experience with database management. Experience working across departments. Experience working with Board of Directors or other high-level executives. This position requires a valid drivers license and compliance with TNCs Auto Safety Program. Employees may not drive Conservancy-owned / leased vehicles, rental cars, or personal vehicles on behalf of the Conservancy if considered high risk drivers. Employment in this position will be contingent upon completion of a Vehicle Use Agreement, which may include a review of the prospective employees motor vehicle record.
Salary information : The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $65,000 - $88,000. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidates actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidates location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
