The Roads and Highways Practice is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT .

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead drainage engineering teams on transportation projects including freeways, interstates, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared-use facilities
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support the design and construction of transportation infrastructure, public and private site developments, and flood control projects
• Drainage design, including, but not limited to, the design of storm sewers, culverts, detention / water quality facilities, bridge deck drainage, river hydraulics. bridge hydraulics, and roadside ditches.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of the assigned design team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements
• Perform design and oversee preparation of plans and details using OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and / or Civil-3D
• Produce and QC erosion control and / or stormwater management plans, reports, quantities, and specifications
• Serve as lead drainage technical liaison with client on project efforts.
• Staff management of local drainage engineering staff
