Fund Accountant

Position

MIO's Finance function is seeking a Fund Accountant to join the group responsible for the accounting and administration of the various MIO Separately Managed Account (SMA) vehicles. This role will also provide opportunities to participate in special projects (new products, new systems / existing system upgrades, and various process improvements) and to gain exposure to the responsibilities of other groups within Finance.

Primary responsibilities

• Accounting and administration of SMA vehicles
• Preparation and review of accounting records, financial statements, and tax work papers
• Reconciling month-end NAV reporting from fund administrators and resolving discrepancies
• Uploading and reconciling transactions across various systems
• Coordinating with the Trade Operations group to troubleshoot cash, position, and market value reconciliation breaks
• Assisting in the fund expense accrual budget and payment process
• Developing, monitoring, improving, and implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures where necessary

Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to an individual's assigned office location, experience, and expertise. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to MIO's discretion and based on factors such as individual and / or organizational performance. Base salary range

$95,000-$95,000 USD
