OVERALL JOB PURPOSE : Routine placement of survey sights underground and on the surface and performing CAD assisted drafting.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
Conduct underground check survey on an as needed basis
Assist with the layout, design and installation of various construction activities (both underground and surface)
Prepare a monthly volumetric assessment of mined areas and stockpiled tonnage
Prepare monthly mining projections map showing specific surveying / mining related details (i.e., pillar dimensions, conveyor centerlines, etc.)
Interface daily with underground supervisors
Conduct surface surveying activities as required. This work will include subsidence surveys, property / permit area boundary descriptions, support for exploration activities and targeting for aerial surveys.
Prepare and maintain all relevant files, drawings, records, etc. necessary to document all surveying activities
Working split or extended shifts periodically
