Accounting Analyst

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial data statements and credit histories to establish and maintain credit limits, exercising independent judgement on credit approvals.
• Lead collection efforts for high-risk accounts, using strategic approaches to maximize cash flow.
• Resolve complex customer disputes, including invoices, debts, and chargebacks, by applying accounting principles and company policies
• Ensure compliance with Corporate SOX guidelines and company accounting policies in all accounting processes
• Perform and interpret AR / AP reconciliations and prepare summary reports to support management decision-making
• Review and maintain customer master data to ensure accuracy in billing and payment processes
• Provide expert guidance to internal teams and customers on accounting procedures and dispute resolution
• Oversee third-party collection amounts, providing guidance and decisions on collections strategy
• Prepare and analyze reports for the General Ledger, identifying trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Assist with the monthly reporting, ad hoc analysis, and process improvement projects.
