Designers at Otter are both product thinkers and craftspeople. They care deeply about the details, but never lose sight of the bigger picture : building systems that make the food business run smarter, faster, and better.

In this role, you'll :

• Design end-to-end experiences across Otter - the digital backbone of modern restaurants. You'll own how restaurateurs run, manage, and grow their business using Otter's tools, shaping a platform that drives both revenue and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and ops to launch features that simplify complex workflows like item setup, pricing, availability, and modifiers-always with scalability and usability in mind.
• Lead design critiques and cross-functional reviews to refine ideas quickly, iterate on solutions, and ensure we're solving the right problems with the right level of craft.
• Contribute to our design system, evolving shared patterns that power consistent experiences across everything from single-menu edits to multi-brand management.
• Champion user-centered design, advocating for restaurant operators, delivery staff, and internal teams-while balancing real-world business trade-offs and technical constraints.

This role is based in our Seattle office. As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We're constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That's why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $227,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
