S&S FP&A Senior Finance Analyst

The Software & Services (S&S) Finance organization supports the evolving OnStar Services, Software / AV Engineering, and Software Product Management teams. The S&S FP&A Senior Finance Analyst coordinates and provides timely and relevant overall consolidated S&S financial analysis, reporting, and review materials leveraging existing and new analytical tools, systems, and methods. A key measure of success is effectively drawing out analytical financial insights that help support leadership in optimizing enterprise profitable growth over the near to long-term horizon. This position is a key integral part of the S&S FP&A Finance team, collaborating closely with one another and a multitude of key stakeholders across S&S Finance and Controllership, Corporate, regional, and other business unit FP&A teams, GBS, and our cross-functional business partners.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities) :

• Consolidate, analyze, evaluate, and present overall S&S business unit actual and forecast financial results and related performance analysis, including but not limited to fixed costs, staffing / headcount, and functional budget transfers
• Provide effective storytelling and added insights that link financial results and analysis with key enterprise operating strategies and goals
• Plan and coordinate annual S&S Long-Term Plan strategic leadership reviews and financial consolidation / submission
• Engage in ongoing special projects supporting S&S Finance and business partners
• Ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures
• Maintain outstanding relationships with all key stakeholders, proactively anticipating and supporting them with their requirements
