Senior Accountant – Real Estate

Location : New York City (100% Onsite)

Compensation : $75K–$85K + Professional Development Opportunities

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Conduct variance analysis, reconcile accounts, and assist with year-end audits and closing
• Manage bank reconciliations and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions
• Oversee treasury activity, including investment tracking and intercompany transactions
• Support property management accounting, including CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, AP / AR, and real estate tax schedules
• Partner with property and asset managers to deliver clear, timely financial insights
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
• Mentor junior accounting staff and promote professional excellence
