• Must be open to getting National Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, NCMA, AAMA, NCCT, etc.) within 1 year of starting

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team, responsible for rooming 12-15+ patients a day. The Medical Assistant will work closely with a specific physician, assisting in patient care and administrative tasks. This role requires a compassionate individual capable of delivering excellent patient service in a team-based environment.

Work Environment

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with an initial training period of 5x8-hour shifts, transitioning to 4x10-hour shifts. The work environment is friendly and supportive, with a strong tenure of Medical Assistants and a smaller clinic setting. The primary location is inside Salem Hospital, with occasional floating to the Keizer clinic. The clinic values early diagnosis, patient attentiveness, and education, primarily serving a geriatric population.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.
