Addison Group, in partnership with our consumer products client based in West LA, is seeking a Staff Accountant (Contract-hire) to join their team.
This is a temporary contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent employee.

Job Site Status (onsite / hybrid / remote) Hybrid remote, Monday-Wednesday on site in West LA. Thursday and Friday are REMOTE.
Compensation / Benefits Hourly rate ranges from $33-$36 / hr depending on qualifications. If converted to a permanent employee, yearly salary ranges from $70,000-$75,000.
This client offers Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO and 401k benefits if hired on as a permanent employee.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
- Prepare and file tax returns
- Enter accounting related information into business logs
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
REQUIREMENTS
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- You have 2-3 years of Accounting experience
- You are highly proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables & V-Lookups)
- You have prior experience utilizing Oracle software
- You might have a CPA; While this is preferred, it is not required
- You have excellent organizational skills, time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
- You are self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- You have a strong ability to communicate sensitive information in a thoughtful manner
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
