Our Miami studio is seeking a highly skilled Associate / Project Manager with a strong design background to join our team. This is a key leadership role ideal for a creative, detail-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to high-profile, award-winning projects.
Position Overview
The Associate will manage the full lifecycle of landscape architecture projects-from concept development through construction. This position requires strong leadership, exceptional design capabilities, technical proficiency, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As part of our boutique studio, adaptability and initiative are essential. The Associate will collaborate closely with senior leadership and play an active role in mentoring junior designers, contributing to a supportive and growth-oriented team culture.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture (Architecture degree with strong landscape experience considered). Licensing encouraged.
4+ years of experience in a landscape architecture project management role.
Strong portfolio featuring high-end residential projects and / or complex mixed-use, resort, or condominium developments.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and ideally SketchUp; Revit experience is a plus.
Excellent design sensibility with strong technical knowledge of construction details, building materials, and Florida plant species.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; confident leading client meetings and presentations.
Proven organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a history of successful project delivery.
Strong understanding of construction documents, planting plans, and detailed design (sample work may be requested)
