Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and examine patients with injuries, conditions, or disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
  • Develop an individualized plan of care that is consistent with examination findings, including any necessary outside referrals for emergent and non-emergent issues.
  • Supervise physical therapist assistants and physical therapy students who are helping with the implementation of a patient's plan of care.
  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner, including any communication required to physicians or other professionals on the care team.
  • Participate in staff and clinical meetings and in-services.

Qualifications

  • Current, active Washington State license to practice physical therapy ( or interim license pending ).
  • Clinical experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting
  • Clinical experience working with the pelvic health population ( preferred )
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
  • CPR certification ( required )
