Major Gift Development Officer
Identifies, cultivates, and solicits major and leadership gift donors from the prospect pool of alumni, friends, and family members of Northwestern Law. This position will focus on developing relationships in the Chicagoland market and in the Law School's secondary and tertiary markets throughout the US. Occasional travel to assigned markets and work with donors. Manages process and prospects, which includes building a balanced portfolio through qualifying visits, cultivation of prospects, prospect solicitation that aligns with prospect's passions and financial capacity, securing the commitment, and stewarding current donors. Will collaborate closely on hosting and coordinating strategic events in assigned markets. Will interface with deans, faculty, program directors, and other University leaders to prepare them for prospect meetings and other solicitations.

Target hiring range for this position will be between $87,899 to $91,415 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
