Micron is seeking an imaginative and seasoned leader to take on the position of Director of Global Safety and Health. This role will involve crafting and implementing a comprehensive global strategy to safeguard the safety, health, and well-being of employees across all regions. The director will lead cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to international regulations, and cultivate a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a global safety and health strategy aligned with company goals and sustainability objectives.
• Program Development & Oversight : Develop and manage global safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention.
• Compliance & Regulatory Affairs : Supervise and ensure adherence to safety and health regulations at the international, national, and local levels.
• Incident Management : Provide global oversite to investigations of safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and lead all aspects of corrective actions.
• Engaging with Collaborators : Work closely with site leaders, HR, legal, and operations to integrate safety and health into business processes.
• Coordinate global safety training programs.
• Establish benchmarks and dashboards to monitor safety performance.
• Promoting psychological safety and open communication across all levels of the organization.
• Promoting a mentality of proactive risk management and shared responsibility.
• Supporting employee engagement through transparent leadership and recognition of safety excellence.
