IT Analyst / Programmer II – NCCU Public Administration

Overview

North Carolina Central University's Information Technology Services (ITS) seeks an IT Analyst / Programmer II to support the mission through design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications, interfaces, automation, and integrations. This position works as part of the Enterprise Applications and Development Services team, collaborating with campus constituents and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and automate outbound and inbound data feeds from / to the ERP system and perform programming tasks using SQL / PL / SQL, APIs, and other technologies as required.
• Complete technical tasks related to ERP systems implementation, development, maintenance, enhancement, automation, and support, with emphasis on business process improvement and efficiencies.
• Serve as a technical resource for the Enterprise Applications and Development Services department, ITS, and campus constituents; research and troubleshoot issues submitted via the helpdesk.
• Ensure appropriate testing in collaboration with technical and functional staff prior to production; communicate with users, ITS staff, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Collaborate as a contributing team member to provide technical guidance for administrative solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
