POSITION PERFORMANCE PLAN – Epic Analyst

Position Summary : Responsible for examining and evaluating reporting requirements for various business units across the organization. Utilizes proven knowledge of specialized reporting tools to develop necessary reporting structures. Proactively generates and compiles reports based on findings, including recommended improvements to—or new requirements for—business processes, operational procedures, and their corresponding reporting structures.
Primary Customers : Administration, RCMC staff, Physicians and team members using any computer application or report generated from these applications.
Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare, validate, schedule, and deliver reports and data extracts.
- Communicate reporting changes, enhancements, and modifications—verbally or through written documentation—to management and other employees to ensure issues and solutions are understood.
- Follow up with customers before, during, and after implementation.
- Define and document user requirements.
- With minimal or no supervision, facilitate meetings between business stakeholders, technical resources, and third parties to determine business requirements and technical solutions.
- Utilize a variety of Epic analytical tools, including SlicerDicer filters / sessions, Radar dashboards / components, and custom SQL metrics.
Required Job Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Clinical, or a related field required.Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role, including EPIC reporting; experience in a hospital setting preferred.Strong SQL skills, with proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and scripts.Experience working with EPIC Systems databases (Clarity and / or Caboodle).Current Epic certification in Clarity or Caboodle Data Models.Knowledge of business intelligence tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and prioritiesRUSH salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data.
