Fraud Manager

Skechers is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented fraud manager to join our team reporting to the Vice President, Internal Audit. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our company and customers by monitoring, analyzing and responding to suspicious activity across our platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, investigative acumen, and the ability to utilize data to drive insights about potential risks and prevent and detect fraudulent transactions. This position interacts with senior management, business managers and other functions to understand business operations and analyze, monitor and protect our assets. This position is based in Manhattan Beach, CA.

Essential Job Results :

• Develop and implement fraud prevention and detection strategies tailored to specifically to Skechers' platforms
• Generate and analyze reports on fraud trends, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in fraud detection and prevention processes
• Use investigative tools to identify unusual patterns, chargebacks and suspicious transactions leveraging your industry knowledge to assess potential fraud risks in stores, online, and corporate offices.
• Create and maintain metrics for measuring the success of fraud detection / prevention strategies.
• Work with Customer Service, Operations and Ecommerce, to reduce fraudulent credit card purchases in both the retail and online environments. Stay abreast of current trends in credit card theft and work with partners to create and implement processes to reduce the frequency of occurrence.
• Review, investigate, and track suspicious activity, analyze trends, communicate fraud / security threats to management, and provide recommendations for loss mitigation as needed.
• Collaborate with IT and e-commerce teams to ensure fraud detection tools are effective and protocols are followed
• Develop and maintain incident reporting systems and ensure timely and accurate documentation of all incidents
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging threats, recommending and implementing innovative solutions
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

$120k-$150k / ANNUALLY
