Hotel Director of Sales – Full-Service Marriott (DC Area)
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Director of Sales to lead our sales and marketing team driving room sales, occupancy, and events. The ideal candidate has a strong track record at full-service properties and will build strong client relationships.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary – $100,000 to $125,000
- Aggressive Commission Program – 1.5% of Sales

Responsibilities
Lead the Sales and Marketing team to maximize total revenue and exceed sales goalsBuild and cultivate relationships with the client base, providing a positive work environment for the teamSpend significant time surveying the market, researching new opportunities, and staying informed about local market trendsConduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and develop leads through competitive analysisSupport and develop the Sales ManagersQualifications
Minimum 5 years of sales experienceMinimum 3 years of management experienceExperience in budget preparation, forecasting, revenue generation, analytics, coaching, and management of sales teamsAny combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be consideredPast hotel Director of Sales experience is a plus4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferredKnowledge of hotel structure and how all departments interactExcellent communication skills and a friendly, positive manner in soliciting business, meeting client needs, and resolving complaintsAbility to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspectionsDetail-oriented#J-18808-Ljbffr
