We are seeking Van Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for our members and create the most positive memorable experiences every day.

The Driver will perform transportation duties in a safe and professional manner while providing first-class customer service.

This is a part-time, as needed position.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Transport persons served to and from appointments, outings, or other events / activities. Assist ambulatory passengers as needed.

Provide professional, courteous service.

• Coordinate outing schedules with management.
• Operate the organization's vehicle in compliance with organizational, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, interior, and exterior.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and performance through regularly scheduled inspections and service repair. Report safety and maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Record mileage for all trips; maintain various vehicle logs as required.

High School Diploma or GED required.

High school or equivalent

Required experience :

• Excellent communication skills
• Must hold a currently valid driver's license and have an excellent driving record.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and fluency in English required.
• Knowledge of state traffic laws.
• Ability to professionally and cooperatively work with staff, management, family members, and the general public.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time.

• Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending.
• Hearing and vision abilities within the normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with patients.
• Exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
• Requires standing and / or walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift / move up to 50lbs, bend, maintain a stationary position, move freely, operate equipment, ascend / descend freely, and position self to reach equipment above or below the normal standing height
