Description : About the Position

Position / Specialty : MedSurg RN

Shift : 3x12s, Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM

On-call requirement : Yes

Weekend requirement : Every other weekend

First-time travelers accepted : Yes

Required experience : 1 year minimum

Equipment experience required : Omnicell, Baxter IV Pumps

Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires manager's approval upon request.

Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis.

All time off must be included at submission.

Approval will be based on facility needs.

Facility is allowed to call off one shift every two weeks.

Travelers should be aware that during specific seasons, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Please ensure that any plans do not cause complications with assignments during these times.

Modules are non-billable and average 4 hours spent on them.

Module hours are included in pre-start compliance requirements.

• Pre / Post-op Hip Replacement
• Pre / Post-op Knee Replacement
• Pre / Post-op Neurosurgery
• Pneumonia
• Chest Pain
• AKI
• Heart Failure
• COPD
• Sickle Cell Crisis
• Cellulitis
• Small Bowel Obstruction

Interdisciplinary support : IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary.
