Job Purpose :

As an Associate Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the basic maintenance and repair of Multi-Function Printers (MFP). This entry-level position is ideal for individuals beginning their career in the technical service field. You will gain hands-on experience while working under the supervision of more experienced technicians and the Service Manager.

Please note that the frequency of tasks, their percentage of total work time, and work duration might vary based on department, field assignments, and territorial jurisdiction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (80%) :

• Assist in performing basic maintenance and cleaning of MFP devices to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Support senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing MFP devices, learning through hands-on experience.
• Help with the installation of MFP devices, including basic setup and ensuring the devices are functioning correctly.
• Learn to perform simple troubleshooting tasks, such as clearing paper jams and replacing toner cartridges, under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Provide basic on-site support to customers, focusing on routine tasks and escalating more complex issues to senior technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and tasks completed, under supervision.
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and local regulations.
• Stay informed about the basics of MFP models and standard repair procedures.
• Assist in managing inventory by reporting used parts and supplies to the Service Manager.
