  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, set development goals, and guide career progression.
  • Coordinate onboarding and technical training for new technicians.

  • Maintain clear, consistent, and thorough documentation of field activities, troubleshooting processes, and lessons learned.
  • Provide structured updates to leadership on field performance, challenges, and improvements.
  • Facilitate cross-team communication between field technicians, engineering, and leadership to ensure alignment and information flow.
  • Partner with engineering to review and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and new technology rollouts.
  • Provide input on resource planning, operational strategies, and process improvements.
  • Help define and refine best practices for field operations to drive efficiency and reliability.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Mastery PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage performance across a technical team.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with strong documentation practices.
  • Comfortable managing shifting priorities in dynamic, field-based environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, work in extreme environments, and be on-call as required.
  • OSHA 10, CPR, and Telehandler (ICON will provide if needed).
  • PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong process orientation and commitment to operational excellence.
  • PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely and regularly.
  • Comfortable working in various outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures (above 100F or below freezing), sun, rain, mud, and areas with limited infrastructure (e.g., lack of electricity).
  • Comfortable standing and moving on your feet for the majority of the workday as well as climbing ladders and carrying material buckets.
