Job Description

ASAP Installations LLC. is looking for a Project Manager with experience in pile driving, support of excavation and foundation.

This position interacts with upper management, clients, engineers, field personnel and other contractors, and will be responsible for visiting jobsites and ensuring the progress of each project.

Project types include, but are not limited to, commercial projects, roads and bridges, water management, ports, shoreline protection and for utilities / energy companies.

Qualifications : To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess and demonstrate the following competencies :

  • Five-seven (5-7) years minimum experience as a Project Manager with pile driving, support of excavation and foundation for c ommercial projects, roads and bridges, water management, ports, shoreline protection and for utilities / energy companies.
  • Financial Acumen : ability to understand how decisions affect the bottom line; know about general financial and accounting principles and practices that affect operations.
  • Procedures and Tools : ability to understand and apply established policies and procedures, corporate tools and requirements to the project.
  • ability to produce clear status reports, writes clearly, communicates tactfully and candidly, exhibits clear verbal skills and an excellent listener.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties responsibilities, and scope of authority.

  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Set-up budget for new projects.
  • Review and approve weekly time sheets.
  • Complete monthly cost to review with upper management.
  • Review monthly cost, cost to date and revenue for each project.
  • Set up new projects in Procore and assist the field with any issues with technical issues.
  • Review and cost code all incoming invoices to share with upper management for payment approval.
  • Review status reports, modify schedules or plans, and prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with clients and contacts, to facilitate construction activities.
  • Prepare or oversee preparation of engineering estimate reports. Utilize financial forecasting to manage and contain costs.
  • Work with Project Coordinator and oversee preparation of progress billings, pursue timely payments from the customer and authorize payments to material suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Assist in obtaining, outfitting, and maintaining equipment necessary for project assignment.
  • Understand scope of work and identify change in site conditions based on current scope.
  • Identify and implement alternative production methodologies.
  • Maintain safety in the workplace in accordance with the Company Safety Program and OSHA standards.
  • Work with the Vice President to assist in bidding, sales calls and marketing activities.
  • Provide input to the Vice President for the planning process and participate in the completion of specific actions to achieve short- and long-term company objectives.
