Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Independent Contractor

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients within scope of practice and under supervision of their collaborative psychiatrist within the skilled nursing facility and assisted living environments. The PMHNP differentiates psychiatric presentations of medical conditions from psychiatric disorders and arranges appropriate evaluation, medication management, and follow-up.

Experience :

• Current Florida License as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot
• Must be willing to travel site to site
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
• Current CPR certification
• Current valid Florida Driver's License
