Controller Position

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Controller to lead financial operations and administrative functions for a well-established commercial electrical service company. This role is integral in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the organization's overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and job costing reports to support decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, manage credit lines, and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
• Supervise administrative staff and coordinate office operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals to manage filings, audits, and compliance.
• Support project billing, service work order processing, and inventory management to maintain operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement internal controls to improve financial accuracy and streamline processes.
• Act as a key liaison between field technicians, vendors, and company leadership to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
