Automotive Journeyman Technician General Motors Certified
Job Summary :
The General Motors Certified, Automotive Journeyman Technician at Napleton Auto Group National Dealership is a full-time, flat rate position located in Chicago, Illinois.
As a skilled member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining General Motors vehicles to the highest standards.
This individual contributor role offers a competitive compensation package of $44 to $50 per hour, paid weekly, along with a comprehensive Union benefits package.
We are hiring two Full Time Master Techs with at least 4 years experience.
$3500 Sign on Bonus for experienced Technicians.
$5000 sign on bonus for Transmission, Diesel or EV techs with General Motors experience.

Responsibilities :
- Perform repairs and maintenance on General Motors vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Complete services and repairs in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Document all repairs and services performed accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep up to date with technical training and certifications required by General Motors.
Requirements :
- General Motors Certified Technician.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Strong knowledge of General Motors vehicles and their systems.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
