Lead Program Manager
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Lead Program Manager to oversee and guide the execution of a multiple software development program. This position is located at Hill AFB, UT and will be a hybrid remote position.
Responsibilities :
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms / conditions of contract.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.
- The Lead Program Manager (LPM) serves as the overall contract and performance authority for the initiative.
- Champion continuous improvement in program management practices, leveraging best practices and fostering a culture of learning and adaptation.
- Responsible for program execution, stakeholder engagement, cost / schedule / performance (C / S / P) tracking, and risk management across all software procurement and license management functions.
- The LPM coordinates with DoD customers, DISA, and other federal agencies to ensure alignment with strategic cloud acquisition goals and compliance with all acquisition and cybersecurity requirements.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience :Clearance Required : Secret10+ years of experience managing large scale DOD IT problems.Experience with Enterprise Software Licensing and Cloud SaaS contracts.Understanding of software development processes, technologies, and technical concepts, especially when managing technical programs.Knowledge of DoD acquisition regulations and contract execution lifecycle.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks and address challenges effectively.Ability to manage organizational change and adapt to evolving project requirements.PMP (Project Management Professional) pending contract award.Preferred Skills and Experience :DAWIA Level III in Program ManagementITIL v4 Foundation or Managing ProfessionalCompany Overview :

Posted Pay Range : USD $160,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 / Yr.
