Senior Principal Technical Program Manager
The OCI CICD team is looking for a high performing Senior Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a background in cloud services, server technology, and software systems who can independently own and drive outcomes across OCI for high priority programs with significant business impact. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud infrastructure, continuous integration, managing internal adoption programs and other scaled systems. The candidate needs the ability to think about business problems from the point of view of our customers, define strategies for programs, identify technical impacts on the organization as they relate to business requirements, drive delivery across service teams, effectively communicate project status and suggest changes to use company resources more efficiently, regularly participate in executive meetings to present progress, and share project information with executives and stakeholders accurately and effectively.
Responsibilities include managing multiple cross-functional workstreams and / or programs with a clear strategy for communication, reporting, and delivery. Demonstrate impeccable judgment and prioritization of deliverables and risk mitigation. Prepare and present executive documents and data-driven reports. Make recommendations for at-scale improvements and optimize business processes to streamline execution. Partner well with leaders and peers to reliably provide value to our organization and customers. Have a strong bias for action; able to navigate ambiguity and the "gray" space. Understand business deliverables and independently putting together a program for delivery. Meet deliverable deadlines by anticipating roadblocks and working with teams and stakeholders to remove them. Create risk management plans and maintain risk register. Define program scope, including estimations for deliverables such as requirements and conceptual design tasks and related documentation. Lead regularly scheduled status meetings with engineering teams, senior stakeholders, and executives; strong written and oral communication is a must. Manage communication across organizations and cross-functional teams. Develop standard program deliverables; i.e. SOWs, Project Charters, Project Timelines. Have strong ownership to manage projects from implementation to completion.
Basic qualifications include : 8+ years leading complex technical / engineering programs, preferably in cloud infrastructure. 5+ years relevant work experience in program and project management. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunications. Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment. Proven ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership. Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and / or cultures. Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development / Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level. Maturity, judgment, negotiation / influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills. Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands. Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish / maintain high level of customer trust and confidence. Ability to mentor and develop junior TPMs.
Preferred qualifications include : Extensive experience with cloud services, continuous integration and deployment space. Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly. Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring Range in USD from : $78,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
