Description
The Plant Controller will manage and support all plant activities involving financial reporting, cash management, and AOP. This position will provide accurate plant financial and statistical data for leadership to make timely and informed decisions and will partner with various corporate functions. This position reports directly to the Operations Finance Director.
Job Details
Role Specific Responsibilities :
- Be a valued business partner to the site leadership team, helping to drive key business decisions, both financial and operational.
- A key stakeholder in driving the annual budget process for the site.
- Manage the month-end financial close, and prepare monthly financial statements including key operational KPIs
- Develops, maintains, and analyzes forecasts / budgets, preparing insightful variance analysis reports.
- Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses
- Responsible for departmental expense reviews and product standard cost responsibilities
- Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks
- Ensures proper accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as local statutory requirements
- Shares best practices across global finance team including process improvements, financial modeling, and procedure improvements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA / CMA experience preferredExperience :
3+ years related Accounting or Finance experienceManufacturing or chemical industry experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
