This is a responsible, professional position with the Florida Department of Health, Division of Children's Medical Services, Bureau of Early Steps and Newborn Screening. The Early Steps program performs the functions and oversight required under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Part C and Part III of Chapter 391, Florida Statutes. The individual in this position is responsible for the fiscal monitoring of programs and activities in the state to ensure that the state complies with all requirements in IDEA, Part C, state statutes, and enforce any obligations imposed on agencies, in addition to performing program manager activities.
