Job descriptionOversee and manage warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling. Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and product storage. Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and promoting proper safety procedures. Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency. Utilize AS400 or similar systems to track inventory, generate reports, and manage warehouse operations. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for inbound and outbound shipments. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation. Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in warehouse operations. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols. Proficiency in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems. Experience in e-commerce or 3PL environments is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with material handling. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
