POSITION SUMMARY

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to medically fragile children in the Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN assists with treatments, medications, and care routines, ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with Florida PPEC regulatory standards.

This role follows Florida PPEC regulations (59Aâ??13, F.A.C.) and requires the employee to maintain licensure, CPR certification, and annual competencies.
