Position Highlights :
- Academic Appointment : Faculty position with opportunities to teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Collaborative Environment : Work alongside midwives, residents, MFMs, anesthesiology, and NICU teams in a supportive, team-based culture.
- Clinical Variety : Labor & delivery, OBED coverage, supervision of CNM teams, cesareans, vaginal deliveries, and emergency GYN consults.
- Growth Opportunities : Future OBGYN hospitalist fellowship development and leadership pathways, including potential Chief of OB.
- High-Acuity Practice : Tampa General Hospital delivers 7,000+ patients annually, with Level 4 maternity care and Level 3 NICU.
Compensation & Benefits :
Competitive Base : $325,000 base salary for 14 shifts / month (12- or 24-hour shifts).Extra Earning Potential : Additional shifts paid at median hourly rate; quarterly true-ups.Signing BonusFull Benefits : Retirement plans (Pension, 403B, 457, SUSORP), health / dental / vision, CME allowance of $4,000Loan Forgiveness Eligibility : As a state entity, USF Health qualifies for certain programs.About the Community :
