FMLA PreK-5th Grade Speech-Language Pathologist

Location : Sykesville, MD 21784

Schedule : FMLA coverage | On-Site | Full-Time 35 hours / week

Dates : November 3rd - January 23rd

Salary Range : $57,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)

About the Role :

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve middle school aged students through a school placement in the Hampstead area. This district is known for its supportive and collaborative environment including Special Education Consultants who are available to coach and support all staff.

This is a great fit for an adaptable SLP who enjoys working in collaborative environments and is comfortable providing services in both traditional caseloads and specialized programs.

Responsibilities :

Provide speech-language services to students with a variety of communication needs

Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams

Address speech / language delays, articulation and fluency disorders, cognitive delays, and Autism

Complete required documentation, progress monitoring, and data collection

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences

Caseload Details :

Full-time SLP FMLA role at an elementary school in Sykesville, Maryland

There is another SLP supporting students with virtual therapy at the school - the full workload will not fall on the SLP filling this vacancy

The vacancy is for the in-person SLP who will be out on LOA

Anticipated caseload of 40 students

The caseload is diverse, supporting a range of disabilities and ages, however, there are no specialized programs at the school

Caseload does not have many students with low-incidence disabilities who require intensive support

The selected SLP will have a schedule already created that they can follow from day one

Shared office space available

Qualifications : MD DOH SLP License

School-based experience preferred, but not required

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Masters in Speech Language Pathology
