Sr. Desktop Engineer

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Sr. Desktop Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Desktop Engineer, you will be part of the Corporate IT team supporting various endpoint technologies. The ideal candidate will have proactive thinking, complex problem-solving skills, and a strong background in desktop environments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Sr. Desktop Engineer

Location : Remote

Pay Range : $0 - $150,000

What's the Job?

Manage and maintain a large fleet of MacOS and Windows devices.

Package applications and secure operating systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, and PowerShell for automation and system tuning.

Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Stay current with new and emerging technologies, recommending products beneficial to the company or team.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 10 years designing, building, and supporting desktop environments.

Expert level knowledge managing MacOS devices with Jamf or Kandji.

Strong skills in application packaging and securing operating systems using an automation-first mindset.

Expert level proficiency in Bash or Python and PowerShell scripting.

Experience in system tuning and performance optimization.
