Job description5–7+ years in transportation / ITS engineering Strong understanding of traffic systems, fiber / wireless communication, IP configuration Experience with traffic analysis tools, control systems, and CAD systems PE (Professional Engineer license) – Preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) – Optional but valued Active certification is not mandatory , but helpful for proposal scoring
Project Title : Project Engineer
Location : Two Capitol Hill, Providence, RI 02903 (Offsite)
Duration : 3 Years (with two possible 1-year extensions based on performance and funding)
Job Description :
- Provide planning, technical documentation, and oversight of ITS and TSMO initiatives
- Develop and maintain manuals, engineering specs, SOPs, and system evaluations
- Provide expert input on integration of traffic monitoring and data collection systems
