A local civil engineering firm is looking for a Project Engineer EIT , to join a dynamic team, be part of their exciting projects, and contribute to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Design site development plans for various projects, including wastewater management, drainage, residential and commercial land development, and environmental and coastal permitting.
- Generate comprehensive plans, reports, and project documentation.
- Collaborate closely with regulatory agencies, clients, and sub-consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for creating grading plans, profiles, road designs, and intricate details.
- Conduct thorough research on regulatory prerequisites and design standards.
- Perform complex calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway enhancements.
- Foster seamless collaboration with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Work under the mentorship of Senior Professional Engineers (PE).
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in local site development design, with a preference for those experienced in residential development.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a preference for HydroCAD proficiency.Strong understanding of land development and state regulations.Ability to multitask and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.Leadership skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.Track record of effective client and town / state communications.Strong writing and communication skills.Detail-oriented with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Compensation & Benefits :
