We are seeking a Staff Contracts Manager who will be charged with significant responsibilities in negotiating non-disclosure agreements with government and commercial customers, advising business teams on terms risk mitigation strategy, supporting cost proposal preparation, and administering standard government and commercial contracts and other agreements. This position can be based in either of our Falls Church, VA; Tucson, AZ; or Northridge, CA offices. Depending on business needs, up to 20% remote work is permissible after an introductory period. This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary Contracts focal for all non-disclosure agreements.
• Coordinate with teams comprised of program management, technical staff, and business administration to negotiate NDAs and mitigate risk to protect company interests.
• Monitor and track NDA status, and maintain NDA files post-execution.
• Support export compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist internal customers with export compliance questions.
• Proactively look for opportunities to improve established Contracts processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support pre-award activities.
• Post-award, assist with contract review and data entry.
• Advise program management of contractual rights and obligations.
• Establish and maintain strong internal communications.
• Perform contract closeout readiness.
• Other duties, as assigned.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 / yr to $110,000 / yr; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to : the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.
