We are seeking a Contracts Manager 2 who will be charged with administrative responsibilities supporting the Contracts team. This is a new position and the successful applicant will initially work under supervision and direction from senior Contract professionals. This position will provide growth potential for those seeking to learn about the contract lifecycle (negotiation, award, administration, and closeout). This position can be based in either our Falls Church, VA or Tucson, AZ offices. Depending on business needs, up to 20% remote work is permissible after an introductory period. This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with Contract Managers and other internal staff to complete administrative actions supporting contract proposals, awards, and administration for government / commercial customers.
• Assist with post-contract award activities such as data mining, audits, file maintenance / management, and tracking of periodic reporting / due dates.
• Maintain current and accurate company data in various customer online portals.
• Establish and maintain strong internal communications with various company teams (Finance, Accounting, HR, Quality, Security, IT, and Cybersecurity) to maintain current company data as required for completion of customer required representations, certifications, and surveys.
• Assist Contract Managers with administrative contract closeout actions, such as completion of forms and coordination with other internal teams, in accordance with company policy.
• Learn introductory skills in Contract Administration and Government Property Management, to perform back-up support as needed.
• Support the maintenance and upkeep of Contracts, Government Property, and Export Compliance related reference materials (e.g. Contracts policies, procedures, and SharePoint site files).
• Other duties, as assigned.

The salary range for this role is $74,000 / yr to $87,000 / yr; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to : the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.
