Base pay range

$150,000.00 / yr - $200,000.00 / yr

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DVP, Sales to join our team and drive our sales strategy on a global scale. Reporting to the Business Manager, the DVP, Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the global sales strategy, leading a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth across multiple regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in international sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

  • Lead global sales organization to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Maximize order volume, profitability, and penetration of markets through administration, management and sales strategies.
  • Establish department goals, plans and metrics that are in-line with business overall objectives including but not limited to funnel, bookings, territory action plans, annual sales quotas, commission plans, etc.
  • Ensure proper use and utilization of E-Commerce, CRM and other sales tools throughout global sales organization.
  • Maintain awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, and opportunities for customer and market expansion.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close sales agreements with terms and conditions that protect AMETEK’s interests.
  • Support businesses unit working capital objectives and support Finance department on Accounts Receivables, Client Payments, etc.
  • Collaborate with Product Management team on market pricing, competitive activities and general market trends.
  • Spearhead employee hiring, training, performance evaluations and enforcement of corporate and business policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with peer departments and other business leaders to align the sales department to the strategic direction of the overall business.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

Experience & Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Marketing or Business required. MBA is highly preferred.
  • The qualified candidate should have minimum of 15 years industry sales management experience, including performing new business development activities, direct customer interactions, acquisitions and procurement processes, competitive assessments, strategic planning and employee management.
  • In-depth knowledge of capital equipment selling / purchasing.
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
  • Superior presentation, written and verbal communication skill, decision-making, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestically & internationally).
