Before lunch, you’ve completed a clean, code-compliant repair, documented your work, and recommended a preventive maintenance check to head off future issues. The afternoon brings a water heater replacement and mentoring an apprentice through a shower enclosure install. You wrap up with precise job notes, restock the truck, and head home knowing you kept a family’s home running smoothly.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a skilled Journeyman who thrives in residential service (with occasional light commercial work) and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. You’ll install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience across the Greater Portland / Vancouver area.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, present solutions, and perform code-compliant installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, appliances).
• Resolve plumbing issues efficiently to restore full functionality and prevent repeat problems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify risks and recommend preventive maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, set expectations, and deliver standout service.
• Adhere strictly to local and state plumbing codes and all safety standards.
• Maintain accurate job notes, parts usage, and service records for every call.
• Support the growth of apprentices and junior plumbers through hands-on guidance.
