The Digital Life Exchange (DLX) is looking for (5) service-minded college students or recent grads to provide valuable digital service support at various nonprofit sites. This is an IN-PERSON project.

What is a Digital Ambassador?
A Digital Ambassador is someone who is trained to assist community members in accessing and utilizing digital technology by providing simple guidance on internet connectivity, device usage, and digital skills development, and they may help teach a variety of digital skills to enhance individual digital literacy.

Do you tend to help your family and friends with their tech challenges, or want to use your natural digital skills and comfort with tech to help others access and use email and computers, get online or learn new tools and boost digital literacy?
The DLX, managed by KC Digital Drive, is seeking a few people-friendly college students or recent graduates for an exciting pilot program designed to expand digital literacy through digital navigation support in partnership with (5) local nonprofit organizations.
As a Digital Ambassador, you will gain valuable experience while making a tangible impact in the community. This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates looking to build their skills in digital literacy, social service, client support, and community engagement.

How many hours per week?
Flexible shifts are available ranging from 5 to 15 hours per week based on host sites needs. Youll earn $20 / hour.

1) If selected, this Project pays you for 10 hours of training at $20 / hour. Then, successful completion of training will unlock future hours (new projects) that youll work based on your availability.
