Position Summary
The Federal Civilian Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota in assigned territory through direct sales to Federal Government customers. Our preference is to hire a Federal Sales Account Manager who has recent working knowledge and current relationships with Federal Civilian Customers.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quota in the assigned territory through direct sales to Federal Government customers.
- Understand the customer's business and how NETSCOUT products impact their operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within accounts and coach in the accounts.
- Develop a sales pipeline of 4x quota and continuously prospect in new or existing accounts.
- Engage at multiple organizational levels and work collaboratively with Sales Engineers for ongoing account technical support.
- Follow company strategy, policies, and revenue recognition guidelines. Live in the Washington DC area.

5+ years' sales experience in computer networking software sales5+ years' experience selling into Federal Civilian Customers5+ years' sales experience in Network Performance Management solutionsQuantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory / professional growthTrack record of opening new accounts as well as selling into existing customersUnderstanding of NETSCOUT technology, market, and client profileTrack record of exceptional funnel build and quota achievementDrive to succeed with established customers and territory knowledgeAbility to work independently with large, complex accountsAbility to source, pursue and close new businessBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related fieldWorking at NETSCOUT
