Director of Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our B2B sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling technical products, managing high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth. Experience in the K-12 education sector is highly preferred. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage a team of 10-15 sales professionals.
Key responsibilities include :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team of 10-15 members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Set team goals and KPIs, monitoring performance and providing actionable feedback.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the B2B market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to position the company as a market leader.
- Leverage knowledge of the K-12 education sector to tailor sales approaches and strategies.
- Develop partnerships with educational institutions, school districts, and other stakeholders in the K-12 space.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's technical products to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product offerings.
- Manage sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.7+ years of sales experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.Proven experience in B2B sales; familiarity with the K-12 education market is highly preferred.Strong background in selling technical or software products.Skills :
