IT Director
The IT Director directs all processes, operations and teams within the Information Technology department. This job determines the Information Technology needs of an organization and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of solutions to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements. Key responsibilities and duties include directing the team in successful delivery of Information Technology services for the organization's hardware, software and network technologies, managing Information Technology teams and systems to ensure that the area's technological level is up to date by overseeing the implementation of new procedures and techniques related to Information Technology, overseeing the selection of hardware, software and supplies needed by the team, developing IT team project plans, including resourcing, schedules and budgets, serving as point of accountability to business stakeholders for IT solutions / services that measurably improve business KPIs, serving as a liaison and building bridges among leadership groups within and outside of the IT field, and managing performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team.
Minimum qualifications include five years of experience in data management and prior experience in the banking or financial services industry. Preferred qualifications include a proven track record of developing and implementing robust data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in an enterprise setting, demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale, enterprise-level projects, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities to drive collaboration across executive leadership and technical teams, relevant industry certifications, proven experience in change management and implementing best practices in data governance, collaboration with enterprise and solution architects to ensure data governance principles are embedded into data architecture designs, leading the execution of data architecture initiatives by translating governance policies into scalable data models, designing target-state architectures, and guiding implementation across data platforms and domains.
Educational requirements include a university degree. Physical requirements are sedentary work. The pay range is $150,000 - $202,900.
